About This Vehicle
The Dynomite conversion, for which we have the original invoice dated March 2000, included the signature Scorpion twin underseat exhaust conversion, tuning setup, single seat unit, Dynomite faired-in indicator conversion and Dynomite branded clock fascia. The bike also has a Harris steering damper, period correct Fast-By-Ferracci rearsets, Brembo rear master cylinder, Ohlins rear shock, Domino quick action throttle and the Team Virgin Yamaha replica paintwork complete with quick release Dzus fairing fasteners. We've been advised that the paint was done by Dream Machine but we don't have paperwork to prove this. Cosmetically the bike looks fantastic but look closely and you'll find some lacquer peel in a few places on the fairings.
We also have the original seat unit, two racetrack headlight covers and a number of other original bodywork parts. We also have a dyno printout from Dynomite themselves, believed to be from the time of the conversion, showing 159.8 bhp.
Just 4 owners from new (the last for 12 years), it still has two keys and mechanically the bike is in very good shape. We will be doing an all fluids service, a detailed mechanical inspection and a fresh MOT. We have old invoices relating to 4 previous services and we know that the previous owner, who owned the bike since 2014, also did some of his own oil and filter changes. The bike has been cared for and there are long lists of handwritten notes in the owners manual relating to various maintenance works completed. It has been SORN for roughly the past 3 years but stored inside and started up regularly. It starts on the button.
